Collagen thread facial & micro-massage

The collagen thread facial is a gentle alternative to invasive techniques. Threads infused with collagen are laid on the surface of the skin along the lines of the face, then worked in with serums and a specific massage. No needles, no incisions: the thread does not enter the skin, it stays on the surface and melts into the treatment.

The idea is to support the skin towards a gradual lifting effect: more hold, a contour that looks better defined, skin that feels denser to the touch. This 90-minute treatment is carried out only at Izzy Studio. To maintain the result, or simply for a relaxed, toned face, the 60-minute facial micro-massage is available at both of our addresses in Verbier.

Who is it for?

For guests who notice the jawline, cheeks or neck beginning to slacken and want to act without injections or procedures. It also appeals to anyone preparing for an event who wants a sharper-looking face a few days beforehand. The micro-massage on its own suits everyone, including as a complement to a body massage at Izzy Spa in the centre of Verbier. For an approach centred on actives and radiance, our signature anti-ageing facial is another route.

How the treatment goes

1. Welcome and consultation We look at your face from the front and in profile, talk about what bothers you and what you hope for. The beautician explains where the threads will be placed and what you will feel.
2. Preparing the skin Deep cleansing and gentle exfoliation so the skin is perfectly clean and receptive. A preparatory serum is applied.
3. Placing the collagen threads The threads are positioned one by one on the target areas, jawline, cheeks, neck or forehead as needed, then activated with serums. It is a meticulous, quiet and entirely painless step.
4. Facial micro-massage Precise, repeated fingertip movements lift the tissues, stimulate circulation and work the actives in. On its own, this micro-massage lasts 60 minutes and is a complete treatment in itself.
5. Back to calm Soothing mask, cream and sun protection. You leave with guidance for the first 24 hours and a suggested rhythm for follow-up sessions.

Good to know

Avoid make-up, the sauna and intense exercise for 24 hours after the threads are placed. Results build over several sessions a few weeks apart; the micro-massage fits in between two treatments as maintenance. The thread facial is available at the Studio only, which is closed on Sundays; the micro-massage can also be booked at the Spa. Both are available as a gift card. Not recommended during pregnancy, with active skin lesions or infection, ongoing dermatological treatment or a known collagen allergy.
