The classic facial is the one we recommend first to anyone who has not had a facial in a long while, or ever. No technology, no complicated protocol: an hour of precise work to cleanse the skin deeply, remove what clogs it and give back what it lacks.
Skin has a hard time in Verbier: dry air, cold, wind, sun bouncing off the snow, then heating in the evening. This facial works like a reset. It is carried out by our beauticians at Izzy Studio on Route des Creux, with products chosen for your skin type on the day.
Who is it for?
For every skin type and every age, men included. It particularly suits skin left dull or dehydrated by the Verbier altitude, combination skin with a few blemishes, and anyone keeping up a regular routine every four to six weeks. How the treatment goes
- Welcome and consultation We look at your skin and talk about your routine, any reactions and what you expect from the treatment. This lets us choose the right products.
- Make-up removal and cleansing A double cleanse removes make-up, sunscreen and impurities. The skin is then toned to prepare it for what follows.
- Exfoliation and extraction A gentle scrub refines the skin’s texture. If needed, the beautician carries out careful manual extraction of blackheads after opening the pores with steam or a warm compress.
- Mask and massage A mask suited to your skin that day stays on for about ten minutes, during which your shoulders, neck and hands are massaged. Then comes the face massage, which stimulates circulation and relaxes the features.
- Back to calm Serum, moisturiser and sun protection complete the facial. We leave you with two or three simple tips to prolong the effects at home.

Good to know
Come without heavy make-up if you can, though it is not essential. Avoid prolonged sun exposure on the day and the day after, especially at altitude. The Studio is open Monday to Saturday with parking on site. The facial pairs well with a manicure straight afterwards and is available as a gift card. Please tell us about any allergy, ongoing dermatological treatment or very reactive skin: we adapt the products and skip extraction if needed.

Yes, with no particular adjustment. Men’s skin, often thicker and prone to redness from shaving and cold, responds very well to deep cleansing and the mask.
Slight redness is possible for an hour or two after exfoliation or extraction, especially on fair skin. It fades by itself. Simply avoid heading straight into an important appointment if your skin is reactive.
