At Izzy Studio, a manicure or pedicure is a proper treatment, not just a coat of polish. Every appointment begins with careful cuticle work and shaping suited to your nails, continues with a scrub and a hand or foot massage, and finishes, if you like, with classic polish or long-lasting gel polish.

You choose the format: a simple manicure in 30 minutes, with polish in 40, with gel polish in 60; a pedicure without polish, with polish or with gel. The Japanese manicure buffs the natural nail to a polish-free shine, and the 90-minute foot spa is a complete treatment for tired feet. Everything takes place at Izzy Studio on Route des Creux in Verbier, with parking on site.

Who is it for?

For anyone who wants neat hands every day, feet ready for sandal season or, here in Verbier, some care after weeks in ski boots. Gel polish suits people who want flawless colour for two to three weeks without thinking about it. Children aged 3 to 12 have their own manicure; teenagers and men are very welcome for a polish-free treatment. For stronger or longer nails, see our gel and acrygel extensions.

How the treatment goes

  1. Welcome and consultation We look together at the condition of your nails and skin, discuss the shape you would like and, if relevant, the colour. Any old polish or gel is removed cleanly first.
  2. Soak and cuticles Hands or feet soak in a warm bath, then the cuticles are pushed back and tidied without force. For the pedicure, hard skin is softened and smoothed.
  3. Shaping and scrub Nails are filed to your chosen shape, soft square, oval or almond, then a scrub lifts away dead skin. The Japanese manicure adds a buff with a nourishing paste at this stage.
  4. Massage and polish A massage with rich moisturiser relaxes hands or feet. Then comes the polish: base, two coats of colour and top coat for classic polish, or curing under an LED lamp for gel polish.
  5. Back to calm You leave with dry nails (instantly dry with gel polish) and a few tips to make it last: cuticle oil, gloves for housework.

Good to know

Come without polish if you can, or allow a few extra minutes for removal. A manicure and pedicure can follow one another in the same appointment: just say so when booking. Children (3 to 12) have a 15-minute manicure at CHF 35 and a pedicure at CHF 70. A gift card slips easily into a ski-jacket pocket. If you have a fungal infection, an open wound or a painful ingrown nail, please see a podiatrist first; we will then adapt the treatment.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Japanese manicure?

A polish-free technique that nourishes and buffs the natural nail with a paste of beeswax and minerals, followed by a polishing powder. Nails become glossy, rosy and more resilient for two to three weeks. It takes 45 minutes and costs CHF 60.

How long does gel polish last?

Two to three weeks without chipping, often longer on toes. It dries instantly under the lamp. To take it off, come back for a gentle removal rather than picking at it, so the natural nail stays healthy.

What does the foot spa include?

A complete 90-minute treatment (CHF 150): soak, scrub, softening of hard skin, hydrating mask and a long massage of the feet and calves. It does not include polish application or removal, but you can add either when booking.

Do the durations include the welcome?

The durations shown are the actual treatment time. Allow about ten extra minutes for the welcome and for changing.

How do I book?
